Adrian,

Have you scanned these workstations? It sounds like they are infected
with MSBlaster or some variation.

Hope this helps...
Brian

Subject: Workstations flooding netwrork with packets

Hello,

We recently switched our network from static IP addresses to DHCP
served.

Two workstations are now flooding the network with packets causing the
entire network to crash until the IP address of those machines is
released.
The lights on the network switch flash like crazy while this is going
on.

Ant ideas as to what could be causing this, and what can be done about
it?

Thnak you very much.

Regards,

Adrian Cooper.
