You can have a patch forcibly reboot or tell it not to reboot and let the next normal power cycle take care of it. I rolled out W2K SP4 as well as the normal small stuff. The only issue I ever had was rolling out Office SP3 (it asked user input so I had to VNC to it to see what was going on), but everything else has gone fine. Beats remoting (or worse yet, walking!) to every PC.
