What happens when you type "c:\TeXLive\texmf-var\context\perltk\texfont.pl --help"? Is there some special procedure for running perl programs on Windows? Is the c:\TeXLive directory somehow write-protected or owned by another user? Do you get the same errors if you use "--fontroot=(some private directory)", say "texmf" in your home directory? -Bill
