I suppose that you have an

\defineinteractionmenu[mymenu][right]

as well as

\setuplayout
   [rightedge=3cm,rightmargin=0cm]

or something similar

Also,

\startinteractionmenu[mymenu]
   \but [content] Content \\
\stopinteractionmenu

is the more modern way of doing things.

(grep s-pre-*.tex for menu)
