Dear list,
mandatory sample of OTF variable font:
\usemodule[fonts-variable]
\starttext
\showfontvariations[font=Cantarell-VF.otf]
\stoptext
It compiles fine with LuaTeX and current latest (2026.01.08 23:30), but
it breaks with LMTX and current latest.
Error message starts with:
otf reader > fatal error in file 'Cantarell-VF.otf':
font-cff.lmt:1956: attempt to perform arithmetic on a nil value (field '?')
It seems to break with any OTF (not TTF) variable font.
I got the same on Win64 and Linux64. Could anyone confirm the issue?
