The next does not deserve a price for elegance, but because \xmlflush is expandable (this is its best feature, I think!) you can use the traditional tex toolkit macros: \startxmlsetups xml:h3 \doifinstringelse{Skip title}{\xmlflush{#1}} {} {\subject{\xmlflush{#1}}} \stopxmlsetups I'm fairly certain that there are nicer solutions, however. Best wishes, Taco ___________________________________________________________________________________ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___________________________________________________________________________________
