and between the individual items with
\setupitemize

None of the above setting worked for me. Even tried
\startitemize[columns,2*broad][inbetween={\blank[1cm]}]
...
...
\stopitemize
with no luck :-(

I've tested without the "columns" parameter and spacing works, seems to
be a bug??
