Indeed I tested again your files after renaming the math-eul.tex file which already existed among the usual ConTeXt files, and did also "sudo texhash".
But the missing characters I mentioned are still missing. The strange fact is that your previous files "*-zeul.*" do not present this feature.
Best regards: OK

to an accident. ahem.
But I think the main issue here is that you're not finding the new math-
eul.tex file that is intended to over-ride the existing math-eul. Did you
do a 'sudo texhash'? does 'kpsewhich math-eul' actually find the new
math-eul or the old one (perhaps move/rename the old one if so...)

:= (which is actually ":" followed by "=" but, with the two files you sent us, it appears as ".=" on the typeset file) \backslash (it produces "n" on the typeset file) I woudn't say that this list is exhaustive... However with the previous versions of the files "zeuler" everything seems to work fine. I tried your files on the files "math-knuth.tex", "math-stein.tex", "math-show.tex" and "math-functions.tex" which I send you previously. Best regards: OK
