Add a test in ./configure to make sure that malloc.h has mallinfo (apparently,
some OSes such as FreeBSD have the .h file, but it has a warning message that
it's been obsoleted and they don't have the mallinfo() function - so the
simple test on HAVE_MALLOC_H isn't enough.
