Luca et al:

I've committed all of the patches and fixes I have. There are three items
outstanding for the release, AFAIK.

1) FreeBSD - web server deadlock - 6BUUQPX

Fixing the file descriptor problem (PR R66TXWB) brings us to a deadlock,
probably POSIX related. I have seen comments on the web that other products
have had issues, and the solution is never given. One suggestion (from
mySQL) was to use LinuxThreads, but I haven't been able to make that work.

2) Chris T's patch to fingerprinting.

It should be in the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mail box. Looks reasonable, but I can't
generally get OS fingerprinting to work at all, so I can't test it. It's
not necessary except that Sparc can't handle un-aligned byte moves.

3) Markus Rehbach [EMAIL PROTECTED] SYN/ACK classification patch.
(See this thread: 'Packet Statistics' difficult to interpret (or wrong?)).

The patch is wrong and can't be applied. My analysis favors the code and
not Markus's problems, but I'll defer to your much better knowledge of the
intricacies of that stuff.

4) PORTING needs updating and it wouldn't hurt to run an eye over ntop.8.

5) There are a couple of 'graph' and 'reporting' problems reported by B.Loic
around the 25th of August
     - Strange interface traffic pie chart with --no-interface-merge option
     - OSPF traffic reported as "Other IP" in the TCP/UDP page
     - colors in ntop unicast/broadcast/multicast graph

That's all I know about...
