Problem Description
Web server hangs. It appears to never return from the select() call,
regardless
of whether there is data available or not.
Strangely, ntop works fine under gdb!
A bug report - http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=56339 - was filed
with FreeBSD,
but I don't expect much in the way of a solution from them. There are other
reports of
packages with problems on the web, such as mySQL. No good solutions seem to
be out there.
