luca,

i went to;
http://www.ntop.org/download.html

i clicked on the linux suse package link;
ftp://ftp.uniroma2.it/Linux/suse/pub/suse/i386/current/suse/i586/

 and got;
ftp folder error
an error opening that folder on the FTP server. make sure that you have permission to
access that folder.
details:
200 type set to a.
500 illegal port command.

i also got similar errors when trying to get the freebsd package.

i want to do a simple install and determine if ntop will do what we want.
if so, i will download the sourse and do a proper install.

HELP !!!!!  :(

Vinzenz,
I have just tested the repository from remote and it works for me.
Please try again and make sure you've done what's described in
www.ntop.org/download.html

Cheers, Luca
