I'm testing/using ntop at an ISP, monitoring the network traffic via the netflow plugin, I keep up with each new daily snapshot (it crashes or makes the machine become unresponsive still in this scenario), I have 768MB of RAM/Dual Celeron 466, Linux 2.4.18 kernel it will last about a day. Seems to crash many times while looking at the web interface.
