FYI - search NTOP archives because I know personally I have had this issue before. The plugin works and the steps are simple to make this work as long as the router is configured to export to the proper address and port NTOP is listening on (and you verified the data is actually reaching the NTOP server).
A few things to try; 1) Did you switch NIC to the NetFlow device to view NetFlow stats collected (NTOP creates a virtual NetFlow interface for storing collected NetFlow data)? 2) Are you exporting NetFlow version 5? Router config example: ip flow-export version 5 ip flow-export destination 10.251.247.52 2055 3) When you start NTOP do you see a message that says "NetFlow collector listening on port 2055?" If not make sure in the plugin config you actually enter 2055 and click on set. ^Blake --- r s <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi all > > i am about to set ntop as an netflow collector, i > have enabled > netflow on my 7204 and it exports the flow to my > ntop machine > (redhat 8.0, ntop ntop-2.1.3-0.i386.rpm).
