Thanks for this email Blake, regarding the router, i am quite sure it exports the flow 
correctly and it comes to my ntop collector, if i do a netstat -a it listens to 2055 
(udp)and if i repetedely do the netstat command i can see that a que builds up and the 
next time i issue the command it's gone.
And my old dual pentium pro machine sounds like an russian traktor :-)

But i cannot recall that i switched NIC under the admin menu, i will try that
