Hey all,

I'm really a complete and utter newb, so apologies in advance for the 'oh my
gods' coming from your mouths in just a few moments..
I purchased a copy of ntop some time ago to be able to capture traffic stats
from the internal network and re-bill companies internally for data usage.
After trying the demo version and watching my packets dissapear every few
seconds I thought it was time to purcahse the compiled version. Now I have
nooo idea when it comes to linux / unix so trying to compile the src files
on mandrake for me was like pissing on a slope in bare feet. So what I'm
wondering is what do I need to do to be able to capture stats coming out of
ntop and be able to look at them at the end of each week and go 'that comp
used this much data', etc.

I'd prefer not to use linux as like i said i've got nfi. Has someone got a
compiled version of a new build they can send me for win32? Also where do I
output it to - SQL support has gone as I understand it, so what are my
options?

Thanks in advance,

Josh Clarke
