[Ntop] rrdtool-1.0.41-1.80.ntop.i386.rpm installation problem

I am trying to install rrdtool under Redhat Linux 8.0. I indicated that I need perl(Net::SNMP) which I did downloaded the source module – Net-SNMP-4.1.0 from the CPAN.org web-site and installed it before I tried to install rrdtool.   Any ideas?   YP
