>From my experience all of the Win32 builds available for download say Built on 2003-4-14. Which download file did you install. I am running the ntop-2.2.1g.exe version and am not having any problems now on Win2k server, yet. Some of the other versions would lock up just trying to show the configuration screen.
BTW: It's nice to see some other Win32 users here. ;-) Larry ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Gibbons" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, June 27, 2003 2:08 PM Subject: RE: [Ntop] Win32 Ntop stops after a couple of hours Very Interesting. I will try this. I too have had problems with the web service crashing on both win2k and win2k server. I will try it in the console mode and see if it cures my problems as well. It is a great shame because ntop is very useful but very unstable - certainly in the windows environment from our experience. Mark -----Original Message----- From: Adam Beach [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 27 June 2003 21:33 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Ntop] Win32 Ntop stops after a couple of hours I purchased the Win32 binary of Ntop. It is version 2.2, built 2003-04-14. I had/have a problem with running Ntop as a Service in NT 4 Workstation (SP6). After a couple of hours Ntop's web service would quit and it would stop processing packet information. I started Ntop in the console (ntop /c) and it's been running fine for 2 days. I'm not asking for help (yet), because I suspect it will continue to run smoothly. I just thought any other Win32 users may like to know. Adam Beach.
