[Ntop] daemon mode problem

I have FreeBSD 5.0R and ntop2.2 compiled from ports. when i start ntop without daemon mode it works fine, but in DAEMON mode it cannot read files with MAC's & ip<->region pairing. Also WEB interface don't work either.   Any ideas ??
