After reviewing the docs and options: ntop, intop, nflow, nprobe ... , I'm
still not sure
of the correct method (if any) to setup NTOP to achieve the following
goals:
- Gathering statistics from 2 or 3 interfaces on a IPTables
Firewall/Router
(bytes, packets, errors, src hosts, dest hosts, src ports,
dest ports)
- Using the least amount of overhead (RAM, CPU)
- Using an internal host (mysql, syslog, plain text) to store stats
and view from web page.
