Which platform?

Linux - ntop goes on for weeks as long as you do not exhaust memory (too many hosts)

Windows - 4 hours on 2.2 is about right. With 3.0Pre1 we get up to about 22 Hours
Usually uptime increases if you switch the RRD plugin OFF !?!

Subject: [Ntop] How much uptime can you get?

Hi!
I was wondering how long people on the list are able to keep ntop running
for.
I have only played with ntop (2.2c) a little but I have found that I can't
keep it running. The logest I've managed to keep it running for was about 4
days. Is that normall? Should I expect ntop to be a little unstable or can I
do better with some tweeking and troubleshooting?
I found that uptime was vastly improved when I started using the rrd plugin.

Thanks....

  Nick
