FWIW, my Foundry FES9604 SFlow config looks like this:
globally:
sflow enable
sflow polling-interval 10
sflow destination 10.12.23.201 (NTop box)
and for each interface I want info about:
interface ethernet 79
sflow-forwarding
IIRC (a big IF!) I had to set the recieve port to 6343 in Ntop rather than
just letting it default to make it work. That was in 2.x though.......and it
may have just been something I tried while trying to figure out how it
should work!

I have installed ntop 3.0 on Red Hat 9.0. I downloaded and installed
the sflow plugin. I activated the plugin by clicking on yes in the
Plugins section on the website, but it does not seem to be working. I
went to Admin | Switch NIC but it tells me that I am only collecting
data on one interface. I changed a few things in the ntop.conf file. I
activated the -M switch, and I also tried to play with the -i. Neither
one seem to have done anything for me. Right now -i is configured for
the Ethernet card only. Should there be something else in there?

P.S. I did set up my Foundry switch to forward all sflow traffic to the
machine running ntop.
