Well, I have Ntop setup to use a script, so that I can have a helpdesk tech
drop it off and a site, and start Ntop for me. I have two nics in the PC, a
Gigabit, and a 100meg, the script comes up and says to the user, here are
the interfaces and ips, choose the one you want to use. They select it, and
the script passes to Ntop, the -i and -M. I will admit, since it runs a
script, I do not see the error Ntop throws. I will attempt to run manully
when I get into the office later today.

Thanks
Brian

Brian,
I don't see a problem with Cisco port mirror as I use it everyday on my
Catalyst 2950XL.

I assume you use ntop 3.0.x, correct? What is see is that ntop crashes
(i.e. core dump), right? Do you have a way to reproduce the problem?

Cheers, Luca
