Thank you for the information. Any idea if this switch will be a part of ntop package for fedora core in the future?

Deepak,
I don't think -C is implemented for all platforms. I discovered it's not available in the Win32 build myself.

Hi Chris, Today I tried to add the -C switch but ntop does not accept it. I am running ntop v3.0 on Fedora Core 2. I am pretty sure I have the latest version of NTOP. I checked the man page on the website, it does not mention anything about the -C switch. If I do a ntop --help, even that doesn't show the -C switch. The only place I found this was on the man page that came with the software package. Am I doing something wrong here? This is how I started NTOP with the -C switch and it did not work:
ntop -o -i eth1 -m 192.168.10.0/24 -r 30 -u root -M -C network
If I use just -C even that didn't work.
What am I doing wrong here?
Thank you in advance.
Deepak

Check out the manpage about the -C switch to see if that's what you need.

Hello everybody, Could someone tell me how to configure NTOP to collect data for an entire subnet (local) and not by hosts in that subnet. For instance, I want the total traffic, ports opened, website accessed etc for the subnet 192.168.10.0/24 and not hosts (say, 192.168.10.54 etc).
Thank you, Deepak
