I've installed and I am now attempting to run ntop for the first time on Redhat 9.0 O/S. I had to download and run the rpm for libgdome.so.0, before getting the installation to work correctly. The rpm installed the libgdome.so.0 in the /opt/gnome/lib directory
The problem is when attempting to perform the first time settup of the ntop user : /usr/bin/ntop -P/usr/share/ntop -u ntop -A
I get the following error message: /usr/bin/ntop: error while loading shared libraries: libgdome.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I seems like ntop is looking for libgdome.so.0 in a different path or directory. Any help will be greatly appricated.
