Chris: Yes Ken: Bug - number of colors isn't sufficient for the possible IP_xxxx rrds being graphed. Use the attached patch...
-----Burton FWIW, it's probably not the smartest thing to have an instance of ntop open for the world to see. I don't KNOW of any problems, but it can expose a lot of internal information and so make hacking easier... At least require a password for all pages (see instructions in docs/FAQ). -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Chris Moore Sent: Thursday, January 13, 2005 7:26 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [Ntop] Stacked bar charts Well, I guess this is kind of a "non-authoritative" answer, but this type of graph is usually stacked - the bars are on top of each other. So on your graph you usually have mostly TCP, some UDP and a tiny bit of ICMP traffic. Pretty typical. The total height is the total traffic. That's how I've always read those graphs. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Does the height of the UDP bar reflect total UDP traffic or UDP plus all the bars under it? IOW, are the bars really set one behind the other so the tallest one rises up behind the others? BTW, notice the broken image link below the stacked charts and the all-green breakdowns. What's that image supposed to be and why don't I have it?
