Hi everyone,

First I will tell you about my small home network:
cable modem for highspeed internet which is connected to
a 4 port Linksys router bsfr41,

A Linksys Voip which is connected to the router,

2 win2000 workstation connected to that router,
2 server (win2000 and debian based 2.6.17-i686) connected to
a cheap hub (10mb/s) which is connected to the router.

So I installed Ntop on the debian server but I would like to monitor
network activities on the router ! :(

>From now, the only way to see the network ativities is to tell the router
to send incoming/outgoing logs to a specific ip address (on the debian pc)
and set snmpd/snmptrapd (or linksysmon utility) to write those in a file
in /var/log, then I do a tail -f /var/log/filename inside a ssh session on the
debain box. It's plain text ... ugly

And if I try snmpwalk on the router, nothing comes out.

I would like to see the same kind of reporting as ntop on eth0 on the debian
server....

Any suggestion ?
Thanks !
