Before anything I'd like to thank everyone who helped me with their suggestions to solve my problems.

I had to install rrdtools from the source code in debian, for some reason when I installed from the debian packages I did not work for me, other problems were related to the version of the softwares necessary for ntop. For a while I did not install the dependencies to the xmldump plugin, I want at least to put everything working properly as I had before and figure out if with this update ntop continue working without report me that the database was corrupt.

Executing ntop using the following command line
/usr/local/bin/ntop -d -L -u ntop -P /usr/local/var/ntop --skip-version-check -a /var/log/ntop/access_log -M -w 0 -W 3000 -p /var/system_admin/ntop/ntop_protocols

I can see the web interface without problem
selecting this link
https://192.168.0.247:3000/plugins/rrdPlugin?action=arbreq&which=graph&arbfile=knownHostsNum&arbiface=eth0&start=1166103743&end=1166107343&counter=&title=Active+End+Nodes&mode=zoom

I concluded that the ntop's installation recognized properly everything related to rrdtool because I can see the graph.

--------------------
but selecting the link for historical data
https://192.168.0.247:3000/plugins/rrdPlugin?action=list&key=interfaces/eth0&title=interface%20eth0

I see the page, and selecting any value on the 'Preset' combo box, I don't see any graph.

Thanks in advance for help me figure out what happen in this case.
