LOL. I had some crashing issues once. When I enabled -5 5 and maybe ... -k?, to try to debug - it stopped crashing...
If it works for you chalk it up to the digital gremlins... -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Steffen Lassahn Sent: Friday, July 13, 2007 1:29 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Ntop] Problem with web server >Does your virtual server have it's own NIC - or virtual NIC too? Maybe >a virtualization issue? Anything in the logs or debugs? The virtual server has a virtual NIC (venet0) and ntop sees that NIC to collect data. In the log at /var/log I don't see enything at standard setting. I raised the trace level to 5 (-t 5) and now for some very weird reason it works although I see nothing at all in /var/log when I open a web page. I will keep alook at it and see if it keeps working reliable.
