Hi Yuri,

yes I did start ntop from the commandline and I didn't got any warnings, except 
the
complain about missing files, the ones I mentioned. To get the problem fixed 
with
packet.dll I executed : copy %windir%\system32\packet.dll packet from c:\ntop

The funny thing is that I did the exceact same routine on both NT4 with the same
self compiled package. And I had the same complaines about the missing files.
This is really wired.
