Try it without the names, just the list of networks.

Subject: [Ntop] Known Subnets

Hello there,

i´m new to this mailinglist, so don´t kill me if i ask a FAQ. I just do not
find any documentation to this.

I have a network with a pretty big number of subnets (400+ and counting)
that must be monitored passively (so mrtg is no option).
As there is the possibility to specify "known subnets" i create a file
"subnets.txt" that ist filled with the subnets. But ntop
keeps producing error messages.

I have tested it with several variations of the subnet.txt file to no avail.

This is the output of the reference subnets.txt and it has the same error
messages. Version is 3.3.7

--------------------------------------------------snip----------------------
------------------------------

And here the starting of ntop comes to an end.

Is there an error in the --known-subnets argument? Or must the subnets.txt
file have a specific coding (utf8, big endian, little endian, etc) to work?

I´d be grateful for your input.

Greetings

Daniel
