Hello All, I have no idea where to start or how to fix this issue. I got a 3 segfault today. I have googled it, but this message don't tell me much and if something does come up its a different type of segfault.
I start ntop with this command /usr/sbin/ntop -d -L -u root -P /var/lib/ntop --access-log-file /var/log/ntop/access.log -i eth2,eth3 -p /etc/ntop/protocol.list -O /var/log/ntop I use a tap and both eth2 eth3 do not have an IP address. r...@hostanme:/home/HOSTNAME# grep -i -A 2 segfault /var/log/syslog Feb 25 09:33:53 hostname kernel: [151656.419796] ntop[29863]: segfault at 58 ip b7a977a5 sp ae90bc60 error 4 in libntopreport-3.3[b79b4000+127000] Feb 25 09:33:53 hostname kernel: [151656.432084] device eth2 left promiscuous mode Feb 25 09:33:53 hostname kernel: [151656.434101] device eth3 left promiscuous mode -- Feb 25 10:15:43 hostname kernel: [154166.872983] ntop[27571]: segfault at 58 ip b7aa97a5 sp b0153c60 error 4 in libntopreport-3.3[b79c6000+127000] Feb 25 10:15:43 hostname kernel: [154166.891860] device eth2 left promiscuous mode Feb 25 10:15:43 hostname kernel: [154166.893392] device eth3 left promiscuous mode -- Feb 25 10:28:53 hostname kernel: [154957.225708] ntop[28145]: segfault at 58 ip b79dc7a5 sp b0086c60 error 4 in libntopreport-3.3[b78f9000+127000] Feb 25 10:28:53 hostname kernel: [154957.247934] device eth2 left promiscuous mode Feb 25 10:28:53 hostname kernel: [154957.249395] device eth3 left promiscuous mode I'm running Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 8.10 Release: 8.10 Codename: intrepid Linux hostname 2.6.27-7-server #1 SMP Fri Oct 24 07:37:55 UTC 2008 i686 Mike T _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [email protected] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop
