I've been looking into some memory issues and I'm wondering if nTop loads dnsCache.db into memory and keeps it there? If this file is 200MB - will nTop need 200MB of RAM just for this?
Sometimes my process gets to over 700MB and sometimes it's around 400MB. The number of hosts and connections are "about" the same, and I haven't changed things suchs as sticky hosts, filters, etc. - actually no other changes other than deleting the dnsCache.db G <font size="1"> <div style='border:none;border-bottom:double windowtext 2.25pt;padding:0in 0in 1.0pt 0in'> </div> "This email is intended to be reviewed by only the intended recipient and may contain information that is privileged and/or confidential.
