Thanks for the reply. This is from a clean start i.e. deleted all data files.
started with
/path/to/ntop -u ntop -i none -P /data/ntop
Entered admin password.

Saved default configuration via the web front end.
If I create a netflow device and configure it's name I get a segfault.
If I leave the default name and configure network and port, all is ok
Debug is on by default. If I turn it off - segfault.
When I restart ntop as above debug shows as off in the web front end but it's
actually on!

Very Confusing!

Leighton

You can try deleting the .db files, specifically the prefs.db or something like
that.

Subject: [Ntop] Netflow plugin debug

Hi all,
I've been trying to use ntop for some time now with little success. I've
finally got version 3.3.9 compiled and running on solaris 10 but the netflow
plugin seems too be stuck in debug mode. I try to reconfigure it using the web
interface and I get segfaults.
After several attempts I've got it configured but although the web interface
says debug is off it is sending loads of debug infotmation and eventually
"falls over".
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Regards,

Leighton
