I know this project has been quiet since its inception nearly a year ago, but I wanted to give you all an update. I have finally found the time to work on the port of the NTPv4 software to the SFW consolidation, and we are nearing completion with that effort.
In fact we are at a point that there are some nuts and bolts issues that need to be discussed. Among these are how to live in peaceful co-existence with the current xntpd package, how to handle the conversion of one to the other, how to make life easier for the admin, and what the SMF and configuration set-ups should look like. In addition, we will need to test the bits once they are available. Again, I should have something soon. Stay tuned. Sorry for the long delay. Lets see if we can get this thing done, alright?!
