Dear Parents,

In previous emails, I advised you of mandatory changes to student
timetables that would occur in late October. This was a result of
overcrowding and large class sizes.

Today, students affected by timetable changes were advised of changes.
We worked extremely hard to ensure that there would be a minimal impact
to students. We understand that a change at this time can be stressful
but as mentioned, we were forced to make these mandatory changes.

After some initial "pain" we as a school will benefit from not only
smaller class sizes, more student-teacher contact but also from the
addition of three new exemplary teachers to our staff. Unfortunately, we
cannot entertain further changes or "changes back" but we will work hard
to ensure that there is a smooth transition. The first day to follow new
timetables will be Monday, October 26th.

To ensure a smooth transition of marks and achievement prior to our
grade reporting period, we want to provide teachers with time to
effectively transfer records and discuss student progress. Therefore, on
Tuesday, November 3rd, students will be released at 2:00 p.m. to allow
teachers to effectively transfer achievement records.

Thank you for your understanding.
