CONGRATULATIONS to the 85 music students and teachers, Ms. Pady and Mr.
Varahidis, who did North Toronto proud at Nationals. NT came home with 3
medals: silver in Junior Strings, Gold in Senior Strings and Gold in
Orchestral Strings. We are so proud of you!
ATHLETICS AT NT: we are a force to be reckoned with! Good luck to Caitlin and
Cassandra Chichora who won Open Girls Doubles at City Finals and are heading
off to OFSAA. Congrats to Co-ed Voleyball (Semi-Finalists), Boys Rugby
(Regional Finalists). Good luck to the Ultimate Team, Girls Rugby, Softball and
Soccer in their regional playoffs this week. Also congrats and good luck to
members of the track team who are competing in the City Meet at Birchmount.
The PROM at Palais Royale was beautifiul. The gowns were stunning and the
students represented NT well. Thank you to Ms. Schwartz for her superb
organization and to all the teachers who supervised.
We are heading into exams and many Grade 12 students have received college or
university acceptance. But ATTENDANCE continues to be important. All students
should still be attending each and every class. Please remind your
son/daughter. Thank you!
Tickets for the Athletic Banquet (Tuesday, May 30) are now on sale... $10.
Please remind your child to purchase one.
School Council Meeting is Mon. May 29 at 7:30 p.m. All parents/guardians
welcome! A guest speaker, Darcy Patrick, will be speaking about Teen Mental
Health, in particular, depression. There will be an opportunity to ask lots of
questions... please join us.
