Important Dates Monday, June 12: First Day of Exams 7:00 p.m. NTCI Foundation Meeting Friday, June 23: Last Day of Exams (more details next week regarding mark review day, summer school etc.) All students have received both a NTCI exam schedule as well as an individual exam schedule. Please remind your child to read the schedule carefully. Exams start at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Late students are only admitted to the exam room for up to 45 minutes after the start of the exam. Given all the construction in Toronto right now, please encourage your child to leave extra early for school. Thank you to Ms. Hayden and the new Student Council for a great Farewell Assembly on Friday ... and for arranging for the ice cream trucks to stop by! I am very pleased to announce the following Award Winners as selected by their Grade 11/12 peers: Sakhawalkar-Bhatt Award (Grade 11 student for Citizenship) - Max Zimmerman Sifton Trophy (Grade 12 Leadership Award for a Male Student) - Jake Ballantyne Kerr Trophy (Grade 12 Leadership Award for a Female Student) - Katie Aw Valedictory Award - Jake Ballantyne Congratulations to Katie, Jake, and Max. It has been quite a year in sports!!! The OFSA Track results are in! Congratulations to the athletes who represented NT at Provincials. Well done: Jessica Strong (hurdles), Jardine Lam Colling (top 5 finish in 800 and 1500) and Emma Skipp (top 10 in hurdles) Overall, it has been one fantastic year with NT athletes working hard and playing hard (or vice versa) on the field, court, rinks, tracks, slopes, pool ….. NT had a record number of 1st place finishes which include: 12 Regional Championships 5 City Championships 8 teams qualifying for OFSAA Ultimate Teams A special thank you to Ms. Rough who managed to keep track of all the teams and then communicate schedules and results. Not an easy task!! And a thank you, as well, from Phys-ed to to coaches, office staff, and NTAA (and parent fans) who provide support and personal time to make NT teams operate.This year NT had 37 teams competing in the TDSB in addition to lunch time sports clubs and intramurals.
