Officers will discuss the ongoing issue of robberies in the area affecting our students, and share strategies with our community as to how parents can keep their children safe and what we as a school can do to proactively promote safety and well-being amongst the student population. Also addressed will be how to respond to such incidents, if one becomes a victim, and measures we can take as a community to reduce such activity. Based on our recent survey results, this is an issue that many of you have expressed an interest in hearing more about, and consequently we may have a larger than usual turn out. Toronto Public Health needs your vaccination record! Missing vaccines? See your doctor to get vaccinated. Vaccines needed for school are free and available at doctor’s offices or walk-in clinics. Improving immunization coverage reduces the spread of diseases and keeps students and staff healthy! North Toronto students need to have all vaccinations updated by January 10, 2019. The Health and Physical Education department would like to thank the North Toronto Athletic Committee for their very generous donation from the proceeds from the Alumni Social event at Safari Restaurant last spring. The department used these funds to purchase and maintain some equipment for our weight room. Our department staff and students are very appreciative of the donation.
