For Kurt, FYI, we did have some issues with conflicts w/UB.

Not as far as I can recall. The machine is a Dell R710, and has about
140gb for the internal OS partition (about 96gb free, currently), a
5tb internal partition that we outgrew for UB data, an 18tb partition
for the main UB data on a Dell MD1200 unit and a new MD1200 with 4x4tb
drives for DPM that's cascaded from the older MD1200. The tape robots
are a Dell 124T (LTO4, single drive, 16 slots) and a Quantum Scalar
i40 (2xLTO5 drives with 40 slots). The MD1200s are on a Dell H800, and
the robots are on separate HBAs - a Dell SAS 5/E and an LSI SAS2
Falcon. The internal array runs off the embedded PERC 6/i. It's got
2x6core procs and 96gb RAM, running Win2k8R2 Enterprise. [1,2]

IIRC, the SQL executables are installed to the OS partition, and the
DPM database itself is installed to the 5tb partition.

[1] Yes, we had to upgrade the power supplies - they were 2x570W, now
they're 2x870W.
[2] Yes, we also had to upgrade from Standard to Enterprise to
accommodate the RAM, and the process was painless. DISM is a very cool
tool, and I'm so very glad we have an EA.
