We tried offline files for a couple of mobile users a few years ago. Terrible luck with it. We went back to Robocopy at Logon and all our problems went away. But that was again a few years ago, maybe it will be better now?

This is Windows 7 accessing a 2008 R2 AD I'm on the verge of going back to third-party solutions....all the permissions on the file shares are correct as far as MS best practice goes, I'm just wondering if there's any GPOs that screw with Offline Files functionality?
