I am with Susan on this.  When I am actively working on my garage clients they 
most times don't keep to the same OS I do.  Having a MAPS/TechNet subscription 
has helped a lot.  I really can't justify having a dozen or more machines 
functional just for testing when I could do a lot of the work in a test VM.
