Oh yeah, Revo Uninstaller can't find it... It has become a moot point because I am going to have to take another class from that company within the next couple of months.

I found that right off. Unfortunately, besides not removing files, it does not remove registry entries. It comes back each and every time. -- richard From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tim Evans Sent: Wednesday, July 10, 2013 2:03 PM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [NTSysADM] RE: Scopia Desktop add-in for Outlook Go to the COM Add-ins dialog on Outlook and uncheck or click Remove on the Conference Client. That will remove the plug in from Outlook, but it doesn't remove the files from your system. ...Tim From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Richard McClary Sent: Wednesday, July 10, 2013 8:41 AM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [NTSysADM] Scopia Desktop add-in for Outlook Greetings! I recently took a pair of classes on-line. Part of the company's setup included the installation of an Outlook add-in called Scopia Desktop. Scopia Desktop will not go away! It does not appear in the Windows 7 control panel. There is no uninstaller icon. So, each time I launch Outlook, I have this huge icon and toolbar taking up substantial screen space. (I really don't like having things running for which I have no need, aside from my cats.) Outlook settings give the impression that one can delete Scopia. Nope! Next time I start Outlook, there it is... So, I have to go to the toolbar settings and turn it off (knowing it will return - was this written by the same group that did Clippy?). I have found appropriate files in my profile folders, and I have found registry settings. However, before I blast into those, has anyone found a "correct" way to rid themselves of Scopia Desktop? Again, OS is Windows 7 Professional, SP1, and Outlook is OL 2007 SP2.
