Thanks all. Seems my biggest iops piece is requesting EMC over EQL so that is the route I am going to go.
Only because of what I have read in threads here, and online, and some realtime users of both(with my same application servers) leads me to trust the EMC over the EQL. I hope I am not sorry down the road but it really appears by the perf mon’s or equilvalent from VMware that for these apps the EMC VNX will be my best fit. Thanks again. Do you have the networking hardware already figured out? If not, you have the benefit of working with Dell on that front as well.
