SSH (use PuTTY or KiTTY) is your best bet. However, you may not be able to SSH in as root so you'd have to use a different account and su to root.

I currently dont have the space to do a full 1TB copy to my interim box and would like to know how can I remote to the Centos box. Thanks JP
