GoToAssist can only host sessions from Windows.
SAMBA is already installed, you may just need to add a share for the Windows
partition. This is done by editing the smb.conf. Details on the syntax is
available under section 6 of the link I referenced earlier.

Since i can see this "data" folder by default , I can assume that samba is
already installed otherwise windows would be able to access it.

Anyknow if I can run gotoassist on it?

That's a bit more complex. :)
What you'll need to do is add a Shared Resource in the smb.conf

More detailed info is here:

there one available viewable folder "data" but its empty, can i somehow make
them viewable ?

SSH (use PuTTY or KiTTY) is your best bet.
However, you may not be able to SSH in as root so you'd have to use a different
account and su to root.

Before anyone starts in, I know , I know I know, I have already got a new box
on order-

Windows crashed and wouldnt reboot, I have booted into a LiveOS and see al my
data-

I don't care to rebuild/recreate this server, HOWEVER, I would like to go home
and remote into it as i will need to copy specific data to an interim server
for finance , AND of COURSE they need it tomorrow. I currently dont have the
space to do a full 1TB
copy to my interim box and would like to know how can I remote to the Centos
box.

Thanks

JP
