Depends; what version of Visio and are you using KMS or MAK?

Maybe the Add/Remove applet in Control Panel gives a Modify choice.
Usually the key-based feature unlocking is done at install-time. I don’t know 
if MS made Visio follow this model but my general experience is it’s better to 
just remove and re-install than muck about with cfg files and the registry.

Not really a sysadmin question but:

I have a user that requested Visio.  Our normal procedures is to install 
Standard, which we did.  Now, he’s saying that it doesn’t meet his needs, and 
he needs Professional.  We have licensing, so no big deal either way but:

Has Microsoft changed it’s install to a key-based feature unlocking system?  
The folders I have for Standard and Pro are exactly the same size, so I’m 
wondering if I can just change his Product Key, and he’ll be in business.

Anyone know?
