We purchased our hosted Postini solution through a local ISP many years ago. When the news came of Postini's pending demise, we opted to stick with the same ISP who was adopting Mimecast as an alternate solution. We were on Mimecast for about 2 months, just long enough to get fed up with their reliance on greylisting and lack of discretionary control over how "illegitimate" messages were handled. We reviewed Barracuda's and ProofPoint's hosted solutions, of which ProofPoint was chosen. It is not the cheapest solution but it is by far the most full featured and provided the granular level of control we were after. Plus we were already using their on-premise solution for Secure Messaging and the administrative interface was identical. We completed the migration just a few months ago and it has been a very positive experience.
