Most of my customers wanted spooling/proxy services. Just because Google says
they are no longer relevant doesn’t make it true.

The lack of admin control of the quarantine is also an issue.

And finally, the lack of visibility into what Google is bouncing. Google
bounces “blatant spam”. However, if that happens to be your company newsletter,
you are SOL.

Just curious...what is the reason for not transitioning to Google Apps. Are
there specific Postini features that aren't being migrated that you need?

Good point about training the Barracuda. We've had one for 7 years or so, so
it just goes merrily along doing a pretty good job.

My all-time favorite continues to be Vircom’s modusGate. Forefront Online
Protection for Exchange is also popular with my customers. I’ve also got folks
out there using Barracudas, and after the training period (it’s Bayesian based)
they tend to be happy – but they scream awfully loud during training. I’ve also
got one client on BrightMail, and they are happy with it.

So what alternatives have been used by folks here? I’m leaning towards GFI but
thought passing it by the list might give some insight into other products.
Must be Windows-based (not my call).
