+1. My experience with 1 and 1 was horrible. Support was slow and sometimes non-existent and there were frequent issues, especially with undocumented NS changes that blew DNS records out of the water. I put up with it for a year and left, and had to fight them the next two years when they charged my credit card for unauthorized renewals.
I went to GoDaddy. There's probably better out there, but so far, they've been OK.
